Bank-Involved Transfers Dominate July Deed Recordings in Sheffield

Fifteen property deeds were recorded in Sheffield between July 3 and Aug. 1, with six disclosing a sale price ranging from $250,000 to $800,000 and a median of $573,400. The period's top recorded sale was 395 North Undermountain Road at $800,000, sold by Deborah Anne Schneiderman and Scott Charles Lizama to Andrew Conway and Kimberly Kapner; that same address was recorded again the same day in a $640,000 transfer to Adams Community Bank. Ashley Falls Road saw two separate sales. A financial institution appears as buyer or seller on 10 of the 15 recorded transfers, and nine of the 15 deeds carried no disclosed price.
