Sheffield sees 12 property transfers in August, but nearly all sale prices go unreported
Sheffield recorded 12 property transfers between July 31 and Aug. 29, but only one deed disclosed a sale price: $240,000 for 175 Main St, sold Aug. 14 to buyer Traill Stewart. That figure also serves as the period's price range and median, since no other transaction included consideration data. South Main Street had two transfers, and five of the 12 sales involved a trust or estate. Three sales listed a mortgage servicing company among the sellers. With prices disclosed on just one of 12 deeds, the data does not support a read on overall market tone this period.
