Sheffield sees 12 recorded sales in September, but just two prices posted so far
Sheffield recorded 12 property transfers between Sept. 4 and Oct. 3, but sale prices have posted for only two so far: $200,000 for 650 North Main Street and $1,215,984 for 6 Bay Lane, the month's top recorded sale. With those two figures, the range runs $200,000 to $1,215,984 and the median sits at $707,992; prices for the other 10 sales are expected to reach the registry within about a week. Egremont Road and North Main Street each saw two deeds recorded the same day. Several sellers were banks or credit unions, and several transfers involved estates or family members, a pattern seen but not further explained by the data.
